Nicola Ridolfi was born in Ravenna on 20.1.1978 and graduated with full marks in law at the University of Bologna in 2002. He first joined Studio Legale Associato Ridolfi Ghigi Longanesi in 2002. He then worked for International Law firms in United Kingdom (London) and Spain (Barcelona), until the year 2006, when he started working on a regular basis for Studio Legale Associato Ridolfi Ghigi Longanesi, becoming then a partner of it.

He obtained an LL.M. in Maritime Law at the University of Law of Southampton (UK) and a Ph.D in European Transport Law at the University of Bologna (Italy).

He deals with ligation and no contentious matters in Civil, Maritime, Shipping and International Trade Law.

Nicola Ridolfi collaborates with the Chairs of Maritime Law at Bologna University (Ravenna Branch) and is author of several juridical publications and articles in Transport and Maritime Journals.

Nicola Ridolfi was also among the first lawyers in Italy to acquire the title of Specialist Lawyer in Transport and Navigation Law.
