Claudio Ghigi was born in Ravenna on 12.5.1983 and graduated with full marks in law at the University of Bologna in 2007. Claudio Ghigi first joined Studio Legale Associato Ridolfi Ghigi Longanesi in 2007. Then he lived in Madrid in 2008, where he carried out research activities at the University Carlos III and collaborated with Prof. Manuel Ignacio Feliu Rey as trainee lawyer.

Claudio Ghigi became a lawyer in 2009, and in the same year he started working on a regular basis in Studio Legale Associato Ridolfi Ghigi Longanesi, of which he subsequently became a partner. Claudio Ghigi practises in contentious and no contentious cases and is specialized in Civil, Commercial, Company, and International Trade Law.

Claudio Ghigi obtained a PhD in “Diritto delle Società e dei Mercati Finanziari” (Company Law and Financial Markets Law) at the University of Bologna (Faculty of Law), and collaborates with the Chairs of Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Law at Bologna University (Ravenna branch). Furthermore he is the author of several juridical publications and he is a member of the editorial board of the Law Journal “Contratto e Impresa Europa”.
